The lifespan of hair Selina Cabello extensions last from 1-2 years depending on the care you provide. All hair extensions are semi permanent, and maintenance will be required.
Tape-in: 6-8 weeks before needing to be moved up.
Weft-Sew-in/Beaded : 6-12 weeks before a maintenance appointment is needed.
Fusion/ KTips: 3-6 months with proper care. Rebonding can be done so you can use the hair for the entire life span.
Nano Links: 3-4 months before a maintenance appointment is needed.
Washing: Use hair extension specific shampoo and any deep conditioner, and wash them gently. Your extensions will crave hydration, so don't be shy on conditioning products. PRO TIP: conditioner for curly hair works amazing.
Drying: Air-dry when possible. If using heat, apply a heat protectant and use low to medium heat.
Brushing: Use a wide-tooth comb or brush designed for extensions, starting from the ends.
Styling: All hot tools are allowed, use low heat to prevent damage. Avoid heavy products that can lead to buildup.
Sleeping: Use a silk/satin pillowcase to prevent tangles, or wear in a top bun or low pony.
